The National Parenting Center has given their seal of approval on the HEXBUG Inchworm.

For those of us who have heard of nanotechnology or nanites, this may be the closest we’ll get to ever seeing (and certainly playing with) something like it. While the Hexbug isn’t going to fool anyone as actually being an inchworm it does demonstrate an uncanny ability to imitate the creeping motion of its namesake.

Have a kid who just loves robots and has all the big ones?  One of these little ones would add something different to the mix!  Also a plus – the translucent exoskeleton reminds kids that there’s really something working inside to enable the robot to do what it does!
