I just wanted to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed your Hexbugs since I first discovered them last year at Radio Shack! I’m a 56 year old, adult woman, with two college degrees, who just LOVES electronic gadgets! One of my favorite websites is www.thinkgeek.com Last year I bought two of your first simpler “Original” bugs. They drove my cat crazy!! They are fun to race. Also, try building a maze for them to find their way out of!
Then this Christmas, I discovered your newest creations, the “Crab” and the “Inchworm.” I love the crab design, but I think in a way it would be more fun if it went TOWARDS light and sound, instead of the other way around. Just a thought. I don’t know if it would work that way.
My favorite so far is the “Inchworm!” I absolutely LOVE it! It is even better at driving my cat crazy than the original Hexbug was! I like how sturdy it is because he bats it clear across the tile bathroom floor with his paw and it doesn’t break! It’s even fallen off tables and still survives! GREAT design and durability! I love it’s simplicity too.
I’ve built my own radio controlled racing cars before, so I can appreciate the thought and planning that goes into something, even this simple. I can’t wait to see what you create for next Christmas!! Maybe a remote controlled robotic bug with some of the features of the “Original” AND the “Crab”???
I wish there was a way I could sell your product on-line. That would be a blast!! Thanks for all the fun and entertainment you have provided me and my cat, (not to mention all my friends I’ve shown it to). Keep up the innovative designing!
